Hello Bernie, Gregor, and All:
I downloaded 95DOSAPP.EXE and located play.exe.
It runs some of my midi's but not all. Also, I can't figure out
how to get Arachne to call it. I can do that in .bat files in front
of and behind Arachne, as I do now with my .wav files and plany.exe,
but I am wondering how Arachne can use play.exe. Right now, if I
click on a .mid file in Arachne, Arachne can't play it, just allows
it to be saved to my c:\sounds directory, where I have play.exe
I then exit to dos, and type "play song3.mid" for instance, and
play.exe plays it, if it's the right format. Some midi's won't
play for some reason.
Arachne does the .wav files nicely, however.
