Thanks All. I have successfully found a way to fix the problem I have. It
seems that when the computer boots up it was giving me an error message of
missing operating system. I took a system disk created from WIN98, and got
the computer booted. I then formatted drive C:. When this was done the
prompt worked and it contained an empty directory. I then took the DOS
upgrade disks and installed DOS. This worked better than I could have
possibly hoped. It took it right away. I then proceded to install WIN98.
The first attempt failed, but I tried again. Mainly due to the fact that I
never give up. Thankfully, it took the second turn. I now have a fully
operational computer complete with WIN98. I am going to download Arachne
onto it tommorrow. Thanks all for you help.
