Glad you had success with the 590. That machine really moves along
with Arachne, I know. My 575 is much faster than my 486's.
I have refined my own "roll your own" Netdial 1.3 - Arachne 1.60
a little, and find that with EPPPDD.EXE, it connects 100% of the time.
I know you are going to want to load epppdd high, if possible. I
have no cdrom drivers, etc. on mine, so I have plenty of room to
load everything high that will go there, and have about 615K for
Arachne using DOS 6.22.
Again, I'm happy you were successful, and that you were able to
develop your own version that works very well I am sure.
