Hello all,
I'm trying to get more conventional memory on this laptop
prior to upgrade to 1.60b1.
The Toshiba-Phoenix card manager requires something along
the lines of the attached config.sys in order for the modem
to be recognized. I tried to use:
DEVICE=C:\DOS\EMM386.EXE NOEMS HIGHSCAN
without the memory address specification shown in config.sys,
and the modem won't work.
I also notice that some of my Load High's get ignored.
When I use the above line, most all of the card manager
drivers get loaded high, but it's as though I don't have
a modem at all, etc.
