Hi Folks,
This may not be something new to experienced Arachnids, but I just
worked out a "display-image" fix that may help others.

Arachne's Insight does not always display images that are sent as
attachments to email. I have just found out why by refusing (this time) to
give up. I just got an email from a correspondent in USA with attachments
of HTM (repeat of the message) and an image file with the header:

--------------366E9BA7933FD9EA785993EA
Content-Type: image/jpeg
Content-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
Content-Disposition: inline; filename="C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\nsmailRS.jpeg"

As you can see, the image still has the sender's DISK DRIVE ADDRESS as
part of the file name identification. Eventually, after considerable
frustration, I reduced this address to just the image file name, and:
VOILA ! (or as the French say "There ya go !") the image loaded and I was
looking at a photo of my friend.

Michael, Bernie, et al, can Insight be persuaded to look for this
oversight in incoming email attachments and make the necessary
adjustments ?

My correspondent is using a Netscape species under Win 98, if that is
of any significance: X-Mailer: Mozilla 4.7 [en] (Win98; I)

BTW: I have never been able, probably through ignorance, to view ANY in-
line ENCODED image/textfile attached to any of the postings in the Arachne
Digest. Is this normal ?

Regards,
        Ron
