I came with another good and simple solution for colors in Arachne
in general and Insight (not during editing a file, but it works
with reading):
1)-Edit arachne.cfg with your favorite texteditor.
2)-search in the section [misc] and edit the following entries:
BgColor #000080 (blue)
Text #c0c0c0 (silver)
Link #ffff00 (yellow)
Background Null (no background image)
3)-Save the file and exit your editor.
4)-Launch Arachne and look at your new color settings.
This way there are more colors available than if one uses the
options\preferences-dialog box.
These are the 16 standard colors in HTML:
VALUE NAME
#00ffff Aqua
#000000 Black
#0000ff Blue
#ff00ff Fuchsia
#808080 Gray
#008000 Green
#00ff00 Lime
#800000 Maroon
#000080 Navy
#808000 Olive
#800080 Purple
#ff0000 Red
#c0c0c0 Silver
#008080 Teal
#ffffff White
#ffff00 Yellow
