I allways used Pegasus Mail 3.5 for DOS for all my email, because I did
not liked reading received mail with Arachnes Insight.
I like Pegasus because I can read with white and gray over a blue
background. This is much nicier to the eyes than white over black.
Today I came with a very good and simple solution for Insight:
I made a BLUE.BMP file with Windoze Paint. (puajjj..)
Then with Graphic WorkShop for DOS I croped it and convert it to BLUE.GIF.
The resulting file is very small, less than 1400 bytes.
If you want to change from black to blue background you must:
1)-Copy BLUE.GIF to Arachne main folder.
2)-Delete or rename PAPER.GIF (very important)
3)-Goto Arachne Desktop.
4)-Goto to Options.
5)-Goto to Preferences and Performance.
6)-In: Desktop background image write: BLUE.GIF and mark its small square.
7)-At the bottom of the page push: OK, save.
8)-Push: Use new settings.
If you do not delete or rename PAPER.GIF you can get mixed images.
Try it and let me know if it works for you.
