Hello Arachnids: Very early this morning I was surfing the web with my Arachne, frames off, images off. I came to a page that had frames. I wanted to change my options to display frames. I have done this many times while on line, and I know what to do. I pressed "O" to change my options. Ooops, skull and crossbones, "Arachne Load Error"! I checked out the problem and found that OPTIONS.HTM had been somehow mysteriously deleted. Fortunately I was able to easily recover the file by using UNDELETE. On another occassion I lost my HOTLIST.HTM. I could not recover it, and it did not even appear in the list of deleted files. I now maintain backup copies of my hotlist and my options. Have any of you experienced a similar problem invoving mysterious deletions of HTM files in your C:\ARACHNE directory? Can any of you come up with a theory as to why this kind of thing sometimes occurs? Please don't just shrug this off by filling in the four missing letters and telling me with such learned technical erudition that ____ happens!
