Straaaaange ... Kill cache works and it doesn't work.
I'd been checking out a few porno sites, shopping for love toys, etc and
didn't want my innocent child to find such things on my computer. So it
was F8 to the rescue! HDD worked like crazy, you could just hear those
files disappearing.
But ... since I'd experienced the problem of certain files being left
behind before, I thought I'd take a quick look. F10, all, cache ... and
there were bunches of files listed! R in case the page was in cache,
and still bunches of files. So ... F8 again, the HDD flies, you can
hear the files slamming into the bit bucket. Cache killed. R to list
current files in cache. Files all gone.
Good thing is that nothing was left behind, no spare JPG files lying
around, no spare HTT ... But why did it take two tries to get rid of
everything? My "control panel" showed there were ~175 items, well below
256. Was the new, improved, F8 kill cache given on limit on how many
files, or ???
