Yes, I know almost everything being uploaded to SimTel is for luze95. But one very nice gentleman mentioned, just the other day, that sometimes the listings for win95 also had a DOS version. He said it was hard sometimes to read through all the descriptions to find them though. Me? I'm lazy slash and dos and I'm searching the news letter. For all dedicated nerds I present my newest find... bet a bunch of you will consider getting it. ----- Forwarded message begin ----- From: MS-News List Manager <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> MS-News Digest Fri, 24 Mar 2000 Volume 2000 : Issue 160 Today's Topics: <unimportant luze stuff deleted> xcpy2242.zip - XXCOPY v2.24.2: Logical Extension to XCOPY /pub/simtelnet and its mirrors, and from http://www.simtel.net/simtel.net/ on the web. It remains faithfully compatible with XCOPY in the invocation syntax, yet, adds many innovative features to be a very serious utility for anyone who feels comfortable in managing files in command line mode (DOS Box). XXCOPY is also a great batch file enhancer with unique features such as alias-name retention, and file/directory exclusion, and directory- collapsing / rebuilding. XXCOPY runs under Windows 95/98 and comes with a 16-bit version XXCOPY16 which allows copying files in DOS envrionment using short name only (which can be resynchronized with corresponding long file names later). You may also use it for synchronizing systems. It is an industrial strenth utility for system administrators. Special requirements: None. Changes: Additional features added. xcpy2242.zip has replaced xcpy2225.zip. Freeware. Uploaded by the author. Kan Yabumoto, Pixelab, Inc.
