No, Arachne does not have a spell checker, but you can install the external
editor APM and write mail messages with your favorite text editor. Some
excellent text editors having very fine spell-check features are PEDIT,
freeware, and also the Semware editor, $hareware that is well worth the
registration price, IMHO. You may download PEDIT 4.0 from
http://www.goldshell.com/pedit/pindex.htm. PEDIT.ZIP is 337,060 bytes.
The last time I accessed this page I found it necessary to turn off frames.
