Bernie...

I have the NT Cert. books, and it DOES mention that NT will access the
HPFS, and EVEN play OS2 1.3 TEXT applications....and it is true that
the NT Desktop looks very much like the OS2 Desktop...but Windows NT
went the "restrictive, no-play-anyone-elses-software" route, while the
OS2 went "play anything. anywhere, anyhow" route...and AFAIK, the books
say that NT4.0, or NT5.0 (i.e. 2000) will NOT any longer support any of
that nasty "OS2 stuff"....<g>
.....so, if you still use the NT3.51 (which my workstation is) don't
upgrade, unless you want to loose a GREAT deal of functionality...<g>

....due to disk crash/wipe, system upgrades/modifications, software
upgrades, etc, I am in a similar situation to you....my PREFERRED,
and/or desired hardware/software setup is not now finalized...and I
absolutely REFUSE to upgrade to Warp 3...I love my NEKO...!!!!

........gregy
