Glenn,

When I said my idea was totally unlike LuzeXxxx, I didn't mean "right
click" ... I meant leaving the USER in almost total control. And I
meant also telling the *truth* to the user.

When hospitalized I have only one option for e-mail: Using the hospital
free-access computers, which are linked into the hospital's WinNT based
network. [Anyone besides me cringing yet?] I sat there waiting for the
software to do anything after entering the URL for MailStart. Then I
remembered to try to do whatever clicks on whatever logo it takes so the
tale of what's occuring appears at the bottom of the screen.

And I sat there realizing that M$IEekk was lying it its teeth ...
"Downloading page" or some such was all it would say. I of course knew
it was first accessing DNS on the LAN or the gov't server of a WAN
somewhere. And I knew it was attempting to connect to the distant
server. But more than that I knew it was putting the puzzle of the page
together ... but did it say that?? Not on your life! Any time taken to
download, sort, grab graphics, configure the screen was *all* blamed on
"downloading the page." One micro second the page is being downloaded
and the next microsecond the page writes to the screen! WOW!! Talk
about being faster than Arachne! NOT... but the LUZers believe what
they're told.

So when I say "totally unlike WinXXX" I mean honest, I mean letting the
user know what it was actually trying to do, I meant giving the user the
final say on what they want Arachne to do and not do.

But other than that, I guess WinXxxx might be OK someday?... nah

P.S. I really *like* simple. Two of my favorite games are 349K for the
non-graphic bridge and 623K for the mahjong :)
