     I have been running Arachne (1.50src to 1.61) under PTS-DOS v.6.51
almost every day. I am one of the "neglected" ones who seldom have
the errors everyone else is having! I seldom even check the amount of
memory available; it has never been a problem. I have never seen the
dreaded xSwap error.
However, it is my understanding that PTS split into two rival
companies shortly after v.6.51 was published. Both still published
PTS-DOS (with higher version numbers), but neither seemed to be as
good as v.6.51.
Still, the CPU, BIOS, and possibly mother board seem to affect
Arachne too; Michael Dawley certainly had such problems.
