Dear Bernie (I think): I stand corrected. Arachne will support a CGA adapter. unfortunately it is only in B&W and with no attempts at grey scale. This is a practical problem as you cant see half the writing. I think maybe that the colours could be set better, but the setup screens cant be read - classic circularity! I had a look at the colours in the .cfg file and short of randomly rattling them I cant think what to do. Even windows 3.0 was giving me trouble with its CGA drivers. (black and grey displaced...!) By the way, the reason for using CGA screens in this instance is that we have lots of beautiful big ones, and the situation is a public space in an area of high heroin use....One virtue of CGA screens is that they are not worth stealing!
