Anyone else notice that they've rewritten the HotBot pages to include
yet more javasnit?
I like the 'advanced search' there better than just about any other
engine. But now I have to edit headers for every page before I can see
a darned thing. :<
This came as quite a shock, since I've been using their betaware for
some time and *it* didn't have the j'snit problem the new primary format
now does.
I want a federal/world law passed that makes it illegal for ANYONE to
provide free javascripts for download on the www or ftp! With everyone
giving away j'snit stuff, all the people who want to do fancy things
would rather use an existing script than learn how to actually USE
something that sounds as complex as "HyperText Markup Language."
One of these days the world may realize that what I say is true:
Just because a thing *can* be done,
doesn't mean it SHOULD be done!
