Tnx to you
all,
I followed your guidelines and changed the WaitFor
and Respond commands in the script.
At first with the quotation marks, as Glenn
advised, but then you are responding with double quotation marks.
Now the login-procedure looks OK and the thing is
not stopping any more with a blinking cursor.
But....
The following occurs after Login and
Password:
"Leaving miniterm - trying SLIPP/PPP"
the next line cannot be read for in a splitt of a
second Arachne collapses and the computer is returned to DOS.
The telephone line stays open and one can see a
PPPLOG file with date and time of the last login stating:
"PPPD status: IP adress set to
195.121.187.131"
This must be the dynamicly assigned IP-address...
so the server seems to react OK now.
If I close the open telephone line with "arachne
-u" then the PPPLOG file is deleted.
Why does Arachne collaps and returns to DOS
??
