Yes Arachne finaly works

Thanks to the help of many... it finaly works!
Some of the problems:
the "-" in the login script
"out of memory" cured by changing config.sys and autoexec.bat
There are still questions comming up and I hope you will be there
to
help in solving them...
There are two of them right now:
Cristian advised me to install the mouse with:
C:\WINDOWS\MOUSE.EXE into autoexec.bat
This does not work (there is no MOUSE.EXE in \WINDOWS) there is a
\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MOUSE.DRV but the thing runs in Windows only.
I checked the whole computer and no MOUSE .EXE .COM or any thing
like
that is present.
Does anyone have a mouse program? (Genius mouse)
Now I am first going to Windows, wich installs the mouse and then
back
to DOS... indeed the mouse is more practical then the arrow keys.
Cristian and Joerg advised to delete codepage select=437 from
autoexec.bat and indeed "the out of memory" in not occuring
anymore but
it seems to me that code page 437 is not installed as I type this
e-
mail. (I changed Country=031,850 to 031,437)
Maybe this has to do with first going to windows and then to
DOS...
I have to check that and other programms. (They are OK)
Anyway... Arachne works now... but I have to get accustomed to
her.

Hi to you all
another problem:
when I tried to send the e-mail... the provider was busy (I
think).
It often happens between 20:00 and 24:00 that the provider is
busy,
anyway you are not connected (but charged for the
non-connection).
Outlook express than informs you that password and/or username is
false.
Arachne collapses into DOS and is leaving the telephone line open
....
but if one remembers to close it with arachne -u all is OK.
Next you have to try again for a connection, and again, and again
or
wait for after 24:00.
Is there some trick to use?
I think Arrachne collapses at the login script if the ISP does
not ask
or respond properly to *username* or *password*.
It would be nice if she stays on... then one could end the
connection
with Alt+H.
The reason for sending this "IT WORKS (2)" is that I did not
succeed to
change anything in the already written "IT WORKS" ... of course
one can
do this... but how?

Dialing is OK, Arachne Home page is OK, incommimg mail is OK....
sending is not OK.
"Insert your mail floppy disk into drive A:
Press any key...."
Now the screen returns to Arachne: Send files NOW... and then:
"Insert your mail floppy disk into drive A:
and so on, and so on.....
So this mail is send with outlook express :-( :-(
