Actually, in the UK, they are common dominant constituents of big-budget sites.
http://www.zendor.com a company offering "e-fulfillment" services (i.e. making
deliveries for online stores) is one, as is the ISP http://www.f9.net
When I pointed out that a static readable alternative should be provided: no reply,
though Zendor did update the site.
