IMHO it would have been nicer to say, that I would not recommand software
that does not recognize the port.

Bernie put much enegry into this.
And IMHO that's great !!

The Documentation is not lying ... but there is a bug in the code, which
prevents port autodetection.
Bernie is already searching for it ... but he has very few time.

It has alos become apparent to me, that you LOVE to misunderstand my
statements, and tend to write huge mails about not existant topics !

Maybe per Mail, because I think that this thread is getting slightly
offtopic !!

?? I have never seen Billy hideing behind my monitor's pixels, and I don't
have any intention of ruining my monitor, in order to look behind my
pixels.
Actually I prefer looking at the pixels itself !

You are absolutely correct ... you shouldn't do such things !!

LB> EVERYTHING I SAY IS IN MY NOT SO DAMN HUMBLE OPINION!
Could you explain to me (in less than 20 lines) why you are SHOUTING ??

LB> If you don't like what I say, don't read it!!
Hmm ... before this post, I didn't not like what you wrote.

But if you tell me how to tell whether I will like what you said _BEFORE_ I
have actually read it, maybe I will do so ...

Conclusio:
Calm down ... there is _NO_ reason to be that nervous !

Bernie is searching for the bug ... and in the meantime everybody can
select the port by /1, /2 ...

... and I had to clarify your clarification, which was IMHO not really
needed.
