...how do you do ...FTP upload...???

l.d.,

Haven't yet determined if this is allowed...have to get thru the
bureaucracy and find out...as of now, there is no FTP upload, for
certain, no ANON uploads.

Which poses the question, does anyone have any idea of how to
tweak, jink, squeeze Arachne into doing http uploads...??

    I stuck http://www.egroups.com/group/arackne/files/yadayada in
to try testing for http upload using the ftp upload page in Arachne.
This failed, but only by a hair...<g g g>. As far as I could tell,
the only thing that held it up, was the "zzzzffttppp" sent from my
Arachne FTP Upload page, which must not have been the "ssssffttpp"
that the http:// receive site was expecting/wanting. If I could get
Arachne Upload page to send what the receiving page requires, I think
it would work.. Until then, the only way to upload is to use IE3.03,
or NS4.08 or higher to upload..
The advantage of this egroups site, is that it doesn't required
anything to download, just point ANY browser straight at the URL/file
and it will come right down.....and this site doesn't use javajunk
for up/download which our X:Drive site does (oh, yes, I set up an
X:drive site, too...and I'll send anyone who wants to use it, the
site name, and password...we've got 35Mb capacity there, too)...<g>
