Hi Bernie, and others whom this may affect;

Yes, since I never experienced that file truncation problem when copying
ZIPs, I decided to try a few things. First, since copy only recognizes
com and exe, (not even bin) I thought maybe PK avoided the occurrence of
the EOF character somehow. Nope. I found lots of them in the first few
ZIPs I looked at.

So I got around to backing up my HD by copying ALL the ZIPs I had laying
around to floppies - WITHOUT the /b on the copy. (63 of them, 2.6 Mb)
ALL transferred 100%. Total filesizes were exactly equal.
I then copied one of the RARs back to the HD without the /b.
No problem !!

AHA ! I had used the rename while copying function when I sent them to
floppy from HD as they had the meaningless cachetype names !

So I tried a floppy to HD copy with rename and there it was -
1.43Mb becomes 1.392Mb.

I recommend that you use the /b switch anytime you do a rename during copy.
I hope I can remember.
