You mean you are directly connected via an ethernet card ??
That's the best case possible.

You have to find a packetdriver for your ethernet card, load it, start
arachne, type in your IP/Netmask/DNS/Gateway and that's it.

You don't need BOOTP.
Simply type in your IP manually ...
