Use "./arachne" or add "./" to your PATH. I know this is weird - but in a

be searched. However IMHO "./" should be as a default (at the end of the
PATH) since this causes problem for most new users. Those who don't want it
(security issues) should then change it.

You can try switching to VESA instead (the configuration file was rather
self explanatory when I changed mine). Also since ET4000 isn't in your
SVGAlib perhaps you should download a new (and complete) SVAGlib.
