I have just tested the following memory managers to see how they work
together with CWSDPMI (I use DRDOS 7.03). 
MS-DOS (and Windows) EMM386.EXE works fine, even using NOEMS.
DR-DOS EMM386.EXE works fine, too (using FRAME=NONE). 
QEMM 97 with EMS:N switch issues the "Protected mode not accessible
error" which probably means the proceesor is  already in the protected
mode when CWSDPMI tries to start. I use the "FR=NONE" switch instead (I
believe this means the same thing).
Right now I'm using DR-DOS EMM386.
