   I wouldn't consider it weird at all.  Here's why, if I have a handle
on how Arachne works now...

   As the page is downloaded, Arachne splits things off ... htt here,
htm there, graphics reference somewhere around ...... here. <G>

   Arachne chokes downloading the page because it is STILL limited to a
relative short string [compared to strings used by search engines, etc]
for URLs.  When a URL exceeds that limited string length, Arachne won't
work.  Normally this problem only occurs when trying to search or using
a "generated link" while surfing, so instead of a lock-up it's just one
more thing Arachne won't do.  In the case of the page though, it appears
the string length was exceeded and Arachne had no error routine built in
to handle that particular circumstance.  Thus Arachne froze.
