Just EPPPD.EXE ?? Gee, that explains why my PPPDRC.CFG
never gets overwritten <BG>. I'm using "Connection
@lh pppd.exe", which allows server-side BootP/DHCP to
work, and loading the driver high to save conventional
memory (the "lh" part). Perhaps you should doing a case-
insensitive substring search for "pppd" instead?

Agree, but *with* an option to turn this off in ARACHNE.CFG.
Sometimes the current WATTCP.CFG contains more options
specific to another apps. Simply overwritten it could be
nasty... I would prefer keyword-selective update, like
what you curently did for ARACHNE.CFG.
