pppdrc.cfg is created by core.exe, if you use Connection @epppd.exe. If
you use Connection READY, or let's say Connection @mydial.bat, nothing is
written (at lease I hope so).
BTW, I have one new plan:
IP_address WATTCP will remain the same like now, = read WATTCP.CFG and
forget about IP setting in ARACHNE.CFG
But all other options will cause Arachne to GENERATE valid WATTCP.CFG in
Arachne directory, for possible other WATTCP apps (text mode micq, sshdos,
wattcp telnet, whatever...), using values obtained from PPP session, and
file TCPconfig (usually LANTCP.CFG or PPPTCP.CFG) as TEMPLATE, which will
be appended to values known to Arachne from PPP or Arachne.CFG ?
Do you agree, or not ? I think this is one of details, which won't hurt
anything - and WATTCP.CFG will be generated only when ppp is going online
or when you will save new internet settings... and WATTCP built in Arachne
will actually used this self-generated file, so if Arachne will work,
every WATTCP app will work now....
Again, people who don't like this automatic behaviour will be warned, and
encouraged to use Connection READY, and their own WATTCP.CFG and own
dialer batch files. And of course, you don't have to store your WATTCP.CFG
and WATTCP apps in Arachne directory, if don't like idea of
automatic sharing of working TCP/IP setup...
