I go along with this. The trend is to PAP. I am in the process of going
away from scripts and just use the PAP option of PPPD and ODI.
All you have to do is :
1) Fill in your user and paswrd in PPPDRC.CFG
2) DIAL your NUMBER, when the host answers CONNECT XXXXX then exit dialer
without hanging up, then just load PPPD.EXE .
That's all folks
May be you can even use COMTOOL for dialing , who knows?
