Glenn,
Very good! But I have one concern. Your session capture showed:
>>>
MINITERM 1.41 - external dialer for PPP/SLIP drivers. (c)2000 Arachne Labs.
* Reading configuration file L:\ARACHNE\ARACHNE.CFG
* Initializing modem. Press <Esc> to abort.
AT&fs7=90s11=50
OK
* Dialing 629-8686. Press <Esc> to abort.
ATDT629-8686
CONNECT 38400
* Terminal mode. Press <Alt+P> or <F7> to exit and try PPP (SLIP)<<<
^^^^^^^
This confused me when I first started using Arachne as I interpreted it as,
"If I want to leave Arachne, press <Alt+P> or <F7>." Of course, I didn't
want to leave the program, so I did *nothing* and after a while, the session
terminated.
Possibly saying something like,
"* Terminal mode. To leave terminal mode and connect to the WWW, when
garbage characters appear, press <Alt+P> or <F7>."
(I am still not very satisfied with this suggested statement, but do not have
time to think more about it right now.)
