I think there are very few trying the Linux demo version right now.
There have been some reports of great success and a few about VGA problems.
I managed to get Arachne installed in PygmyLinux by lying to it, and ended
up with a problem similar to the one you reported.
I am following your progress closely and will try your latest suggestions
tonite. My own trials are taking a back seat to the DOS stuff and also to
just climbing the Linux hill. Not steep but quite high.
