I'm using it. Its spares me time when i'm on Linux and dont want to
run X (also spares tons of disk activity.).
Only, I keep repeating "please dont crash please dont crash" in
my head. :)
So far, except for the obvious missing features, it ran cleanly and
smootly on Red Hat 6.2. The only problem I faced was the exit, which
didnt return to text-mode. Infact, -all- of the virtual consules
"disappeared". (they where still there - just not in text mode!).
Fortunatly, i've found a note in SVGAlib's conf file that mentiones
they included a hack just for these cases. I turned it on, and
there you go - text mode and svga now switch with no problems.
Thats about all the input I can give. I'm still quite a novice with
linux, and frankly thats probebly what i'll be for a very long time.
I dont get along with it well, and frankly, besides its amazing
technical abilities, its general user-interface (all of them!) is
quite unappealing to me.. The only thing that helped me to get around
there so far was my experience with DOS. (how to mess with configuration
files, the "always read the readme" behavior, enviroment settings,
Command Line exprience and so on.)
