I'm getting exactly the same thing, Lars.
Click on "Clear Cache" or press F8 and the whole thing locks up solid.
I'm running DOS 5.0 and, as Clarence (I think) has pointed out, v5.0
asks "Are you sure" for a del *.*.
You can fix the problem (for DOS5) by adding a " Echo y| " in front
of every active line in \arachne\system\dgi\clr.bat
