Hi Michael P.,
I know that and I have no excuse for
not changing it. However, I have Arachne running
from a batch file which allows me to return to the
browser without losing my internet connection.
IMHO the same key should not BY DEFAULT stop the
program and also exit the program. It makes it too
easy to get an undesired result. The same applies
to the backspace key. Since the curser goes to the
address line when one presses "G" it appears that
it is safe to backspace. But if Arachne is still
busy performing some other function(that the user
thinks is done) the backspace key fills the keyboard
buffer and we get a loop reloading the history
file for several minutes, until the buffer is empty.
