I concede to all that pushing technology to unanticipated feats costs 
speed. That said, if one were to check the hypothetical "multitask" box,
would it be possible to create, oh say, five CORE.EXE's at startup?
...I use a 486SX. If I cared about top speed performance, I would buy 
a newer old comp ;-)
