This morning there were 16 messages in the inbox.

The content, mailed by SMTPOP.EXE was the same.
Did Sam mail this one twice?
Well, he did as he stated in his next mail.
Perhaps the *.* is automagicaly inserted like in Arachne at the end of
the message.
