Hello urdroidness sir;

I think you have been bitten by the smoothscroll option - which I would
personally call a bug - but it was designed that way. <g>

Turn smoothscrolling off and you will probably be able to use the cursor
keys as you desire. This has happened to me also, but I am one of the few
that has no mice.

To use the curser keys in the CURRENT configuration, you have to hold down
the shift key at the same time. A pain. :((
