I may be wrong [or not] ... but I have been using (not as my main
browser but testing & emergency backup) ARACHNE for, jeeze ... a couple
a years or so. Started with 1.4/somethin, have 1.2/somethin [on 286/2400
... heehee, works] ...
so ... I have ALWAYS [well sorta] started with a fresh install
(C:\Arachne). Just renamed old "Arachne" to "Arachne2" (or 3 ...)
Haven't used a ramdrive (tho I know I should for best performance). Have
always used MrBill's DOS 6.22 (smartdrive/memmaker/himem ... etc)
Haven't had any major probs with install/setup.
Have had very acceptable performance throughout ... including using
Insight as main (only) email when my main puter went belly-up.
So my question is: "What is all this bitchin & whinin & squealin about?"
Oh, I forgot ... this is a "beta test".
