There's an even simpler method of setting the time on your PC.  WATTCP
Sample apps contain a couple of useful utilities, the one I use is
NTIME.EXE.  Once you are connected to the net, just shell to DOS from
Arachne, or whatever, then CD to the directory containing the sample
apps, type NTIME time.server.somewhere and press enter.  Note that the
example "time.server.somewhere" is for ILLUSTRATION ONLY, it does not
exist as far as I know!  Hehe.  I can send a listing of a few time
servers available in North America.  Note that you also need your DOS
TimeZone variable set via line in AUTOEXEC.BAT, such as for folks in
Central Time Zone of USA, it looks like this:
SET TZ=CDT6CST
Then I use a couple of time servers to set my time:
time.nist.gov
time-A.nist.gov
tock.usno.navy.mil

There are others worldwide.
