The default gateway (and DNS server) at my FreeNet is also a time
server, so I can set my PC clock with it using ntime.exe. I believe
that many ISP's run (or used to run) a (local) timeserver.
The wattcp apps.zip file contains a number of useful tcp/ip utilities.
There seem to be two versions. One from 1992 and one from 1994. The
README file is from 1992 ("Waterloo TCP Installation Notes by Erick
Engelke"). The individual programs are also available at the UKA_PPP
fileserver - http://mvmpc9.ciw.uni-karlsruhe.de/mvmpc9.htm in the
tcp_ip/wattcp/apps and oldapps/ directories.
