Eric Emerson's truck displays properly for me using EPM (OS/2 Enhanced Editor)
with fixed-width font, or in the Tiny Editor (text mode). I don't think I ever
tried viewing it in Arachne.
Those little circles could be tabs (ASCII 9) that some text editors and readers
show that way.
Programs I use for POP3 download and SMTP upload don't read the mail, so I have
to use separate program for that.
When I quote a long line, I normally quote it as is, and surely it is preferable
to keep a long URL on one line for copy-and-paste to a browser, or direct
clickability with Arachne. One about.com link exceeded 700 characters, though
it would have been much less without the use of frivolous % escape codes, such
as %255F instead of the perfectly valid _ (underline character).
