Back with my follow-up.
I'm now at home reading mail with Arachne and I see what you are
talking about.
Netscape showed both links in your sig normally.
Arachne shows the first one with A hrefs exposed.
F6 shows them the same as the mail reader.
F4 shows the doubling you speak of.
Looks like the only solution is to put ALL the links in naked.
