Ok. What video mode are you using ? 640x480x16, 640x480x256, 800x600x16 etc....
Also, are you using a VESA mode or a card specific mode ?
Is so, what video card are you using ?
Lastly, please describe the display you have selected.
i.e. Big buttons across the top ?
Big buttons down the side ?
Narrow bar and buttons across the top ?
No buttons ?
