IMHO, a better cure is to simply access your POP3 server by using a DOS
Telnet application, such as the one available as an APM for Arachne.
After logging on with Telnet to your POP3 server, and after listing your
messages, just issue a DELE command for the offending message.  Problem
eliminated!
