   If that's true, then it seems to me that Arachne is forever destined
to be known as 'NOT a proper browser', since it will never be able to
access perfectly ordinary sites (albeit with long addresses) that cause
other browsers no trouble at all.

   Call me a cynic, but that hardly seems sound business sense.... It
also seems to waste some good work done by Glenn. One final thought: if
there's a standard for things like the length of address that a browser
should support, shouldn't Arachne be altered to comply?

   Just my view, of course!
