Now if DOS Internet and other programmers would go open-source, and cooperate
instead of competing with each other, DOS would have a much better chance
against Windows, BeOS, Linux, etc.

What about using extended memory? And how many 1024-byte URLs would be in
memory at the same time? I once posted a 713-character URL from an about.com
page that had a lot of fluff, things like %255F instead of _, and other junk.
That might have still been a long URL after debugging, but nowhere near 713
characters, probably not even half that much.

Now we need a new Arachne release so that the Official Grammar Sheriff and
others will have more meaningful things to debate about, and the weather pages
linked from http://iwin.nws.noaa.gov/iwin/textversion/main.html will work again:
screwed up in Arachne 1.66 but good in previous Arachne releases that I ran,
1.62 and earlier down to 1.47.
