Further to one of the problems I mentioned earlier: On dial-
up, Arachne 1.67 terminates abnormally. It does this just after
I press <Alt-D>, at the point where the screen blanks and
MINITERM takes over. I replaced 1.67 core.exe with 1.66 core.exe
and tried again. (CORE.EXE was the only file I changed.) Dial-
up proceeded normally.
Incidentally, while the BAD COMMAND OR FILE NAME notice still
shows under 1.66, the cache gets cleared and ARACHNE reloads the
appropriate web page afterwards.
It would appear there's a serious bug yet in 1.67.
