I was visiting http://msnhomepages.talkcity.com/hobbyct/stackman/ and
looking for a line said to be in the code.
I first viewed the page with F-6, then ESC'd back, which brought me back
to e-mail.
I then returned to the URL, and viewed the page with F-4. When I
attempted to go back to the rendition of the URL [don't know for certain
but I think I clicked on the 'back' arrow rather than right clicking] I
got an xSwap error...
line 1030 file ATOMS.C! hitting a key produced FATAL ERROR skulls.
I currently have, according to Arachne,
Used XMS (KB) 8024
Free xSwap (KB) 1719
Used xSwap (KB) 342
Disk Space (MB) 9
HTTP cache items 135
---------------------------
221 HTML atoms
That is while I'm in the Compose mail module. I did not clear cache
after fatal error. All I did was hit back button from FATAL page which
brought me back to the e-mail I had been reading in the first place. At
that point I hit C to compose this mail.
I saved the message to OUTBOX, then went there.
A shell out from outbox allowed me to check the condition of CACHE. It
contained 126 files totally 400,069 bytes. The drive had 30,040,064
bytes available. I'm not saving HEADERS... that's an error I'll have to
correct in autoexec.bat because Arachne will not create the headers
directory if it doesn't exist, even when "save headers" is selected.
I'm providing as much detail as possible, because I'm using my RAMdrive
for CACHE, and I don't want anyone saying "It's probably such and such
..." because of my non-conformist approach to Arachne. <G>
