Mel, A1.67 uses the TEMP directory differently to avoid MSDOS default
install F@#%ups. Mail uses TEMP. I would suggest you have a line in
your autoexec or whatever like: SET ARACHNETEMP=whatdiryouwant.
Also, if the above doesn't help and your if install is in other than
C:\ARACHNE you might specify your mail path fully in Arachne.cfg.
