I think so.
My mem /c /a says:

memory may change as free XMS memory changes.

Largest free upper memory block 11,840 (12K)
Available space in High Memory Area 816 (1K)
MS-DOS is resident in the high memory area.
end /mem /c /a
Notes: SC = sound card drivers.
EMS - I need both EMS and XMS to run different music progs.
DS - Doublespace loads without my asking, and I need it, but I
did manage to get it to go into high DOS memory.
SV - I could remove this (?) but it wouldn't change much.
RD - This gives me the RAM disk I: (10 Mb) on which I put %temp%
for Arachne to use (SET TEMP=I:\temp).
I don't know about you folks, but I don't see where I can get back
very much at all. I have files and buffers set as low as I dare, no CD-ROM
drivers loaded, and I can't see anything more that will load up into high
DOS memory. And there really is NO point in me running without the
Soundcard loaded - music is my thing.
Arachne 1.66 sits nicely into this setup, and Alt+M shows up to 106 bk
in the green, off line, and around 74 - 79 kb (black) on-line.
Maybe the extra 2 kb that Michael just found will put A1.69 just the
right side for me. :)

Ron
